Principal's Corner

As we begin the month of April, we will be going outside for gross motor. Students will be exploring outside twice a day and should be dressed appropriately to play safely outside. It is recommended to wear sneakers daily to help support students while they are running, climbing and bicycling in our outdoor grounds.

Check the calendar for activities this month, as we will be celebrating the Week of the Young Child from April 8th through the 12th.  Kindergarten transition trips for students in classrooms 3 through 7 - will be happening this month please be sure to fill out the permission slip for your child to get to see the difference between the preschool and the elementary school. Your child will be visiting an elementary school, but this may not be the school that your child will attend, that will depend on where you live, as students are placed in their neighborhood school.

Home and School is requesting your support with our Wendy’s Get Together Night on Wednesday, April 10th from 5 pm to 7 pm. Please bring with you the flyer or take a picture of it on your phone, as you will need to show it to the cashier for credit to be given to our HSA. These funds will go towards many of our upcoming activities. Thank you in advance for your support.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to work and play with your children, it is an honor to be part of your child’s life. Continue to help your child be a lifelong learner by developing their interests and supporting their interests. If you are lucky enough to speak another language remember to model that language for them to acquire and sustain their first language, as you are always your child’s first teacher.
