Welcome to GPPA1
Hello GPPA1 Families!
I am thrilled to introduce myself and share a little bit about my journey in the Garfield School District. I have been part of the Garfield School District since 2003, when I began my career at Garfield Middle School as a 7th-grade mathematics teacher.
In 2015, I was honored to become the Vice Principal of Garfield Middle School. I then had the wonderful opportunity to serve as Principal of School 6 and School 8 before beginning my newest chapter here at GPPA1.
I am truly thrilled to be here at GPPA1 and to spend each day with our amazing 3- and 4-year-old students. There is something so special about this age, and I look forward to watching our little learners grow, learn, explore, and have fun throughout the school year.
I am also incredibly proud to work alongside what I believe is one of the best staff in the Garfield School District. Our teachers and staff care deeply about our students and are committed to making GPPA1 a warm, welcoming, and wonderful place for every child.
I am looking forward to a fantastic school year filled with learning, laughter, new friendships, and lots of special memories. Most importantly, I am excited to get to know all of our families and build strong relationships with our school community.
I am especially looking forward to our Family Fun Fridays each month, when we can come together as a school family and enjoy some time with one another.
